Connor, Connor, Connor. He had his end of the year awards and party yesterday. An exciting thing was him being chosen for the "Susie Greenwood" award. She was a teacher at Corey Elementary and passed away from cancer at a young age. She was kind and wonderful to all. The third grade voted on a boy and a girl to represent this award. Connor and a friend, Audrey Hairrell were the winners of this special award.

The pictures above are some of my favorites. Connor is liking scouts in our new ward (we had a great-boundary-divide just weeks ago). We made a collage last night of the 9 things that make a family happy from the proclamation. This will help him earn an arrow point in Bears.

A couple of Saturdays ago, he help Scott chop up a tree in the backyard. He liked that!

We get creative on Sundays since we don't do screen time and a couple Sundays ago, he made homemade bubbles. That's what he's doing in the last picture above.

Connor played in his first piano recital. He was nervous, but he did it and it was just fine! He'll take lessons this summer and we're hoping he'll learn some movie and pop songs. He loves having a good book to read. He just finished the third book of Fablehaven by Mull. He's read the 1st and 3rd in the trilogy. We haven't found the 2nd one at the library. When we asked a worker at the library, she couldn't seem to find it in the Arlington Public Library System at all! Strange.....only 2 of the 3 in the trilogy.....who orders only book 1 and 3 in a series.....where is #2???
