Sunday jewelry

On Sunday, we pulled out some beads from Christine. Allison and Tanner made some pretty cool things.

We pulled out the crafty stuff to do things while we listened to "The Cay" book that Quinn will take an AR test on.

It was a nice Sunday afternoon. It just feels good when you don't have school the next day, doesn't it?

Dinosaur Valley State Park

Connor's soccer game was canceled on Saturday, the first day of Spring Break '09. So we packed up for a day trip to Dinosaur Valley State Park. We missed Joshua, as we passed the town of Joshua on the way. We remember our trip with Melissa and boys and how it started to rain that day. We still miss Melissa and boys.

That evening, we spent some time with Sophie (she can walk!), Eldon and Stephanie. Lyle, Zaret and Teancum came over too. Lyle came over twice. He had to go to work, but then they sent him home for 3 more hours! It was a neat surprise!

Domino Tan

Tanner is going to "timber" his dominoes.
He is surprised at just how fast they go down!

Hall Closet Hotel

One Sunday evening, not too long ago, the upstairs hall closet turned into a hotel!

Baseball Card Samples

Quinn was heading up the idea to make some baseball trading cards.
Here are a couple of sample pictures.

Q and T duet

Our ward had a variety show a couple of weeks ago. Quinn and Tanner played "Book of Mormon Stories." This video is just the end of the performance.
Notice how Quinn will acknowledge the audience, but Tanner---he's outta there!

Connor played the piano in our last ward's talent show. He really didn't want to, but he still did it. He got a game cube game out of it. Now, it's a tradition.....Quinn and Tanner got a game cube game for performing. If Tanner tries out for the school talent show, we'll get him a game. However, Tanner has eyed some really cool cleats for football this fall, and would like to just have the thirteen bucks towards them instead!

Connor Sewing

It's been far too long since blogging last. I have learned that when I blog, I blog.
And when I don't, I don't.
I think it would be nice to blog a day at a time, and I admire those who can blog more regularly.

Anyways, Connor was sick a bit ago and stayed home from school. He worked on sewing really cute stitches to the sides of the pink kitchen towel project.
You don't need to watch the entire video to get the idea.
And if you know how to shorten videos, please tell me.
