A tradition from growing up that I like to do with our family now, is to "Hit and Run!" You may be more familiar with "Ding-dong Ditch!" I think it's all the same. Instead of making goodies, we got candies and fruit and assembled them for our friends and neighbors. It's not totally anonymous, as we put reciever's names on the package, and the dead give-away as the kids leave the front porch:
"Hurry, Allison! Run, run, aahhhhh! Ha ha ha!! Shhhh!"
It's so much fun!
(Tanner is sporting his "Hit and Run 2009" athletic clothes. The black shirt and shorts were to keep him hidden, and he is wearing the red and white shirts because he was hopeful to be sleeping outside that night in the backyard in the tent. And he's wearing his cleats because he couldn't find his shoes. Wow, he looks fantastic!)
